A NOTE FROM DAVID:

Fusion,

Hey guys and gals, just wanted to let you know that we have two exciting Sundays ahead of us! There are multiple things happening this Sunday, October 16 and October 23, that you will want to be here for. The first, and most important, is that Pastor George is revealing the churches new mission statement to the entire congregation (this Sunday)! This new mission statement helps define who we are as a church body and I am excited for everyone to hear it and join us as we seek to make disciples in North Dallas. Then next Sunday, October 23, PG will announce the churches new name! I am so excited to be a part of this and the way that God is using our body to change lives and hearts. GET PUMPED!

The second reason you need to be here on Sunday, October 16, is that I (David Hanson) am getting introduced in the Big House! So let out your loudest cheers to embarrass me in front of the entire church body!

SUMMARY: ALL STUDENTS WILL BE IN THE BIG HOUSE SUNDAY OCTOBER 16^TH & 23^RD! WE WILL ALL SIT IN THE FRONT LEFT AS YOU ENTER THE BIG HOUSE!

SMALL GROUPS

As we start a new school year, we must remember that our desire is to see our schools changed. We want to see Christ transform lives and transform hearts. One way we stay focused on this mission is through Wednesday Night Small Groups. Small Groups will allow us to sustain a Movement but also go deeper in our own faith as we gather in community around God’s Word. However, we cannot be simply hearers of the Word, we have to be doers of God’s Word (James 1:22). For this reason we are moving to a Small Group breakdown that will help us practically live out our faith!

1^st Wednesday of the Month: Rally in the Student Center where we worship as a body with grades 6-12. This will be a great way to get your friends involved!

2^nd & 3^rd Wednesdays of the Month: Meet in Host Homes with your specific grade! This is where life happens and where we allow God’s Word to transform our hearts! To find where your grade meets follow this link: http://www.gracefusion.com/index.cfm/PageID/766/index.html

4^th Wednesday of the Month: Service project or community building activity. This is where we live out what we believe! This is where we do what we hear Christ asking us to do. This is where our faith gets messy and it’s going to be AMAZING!
